What do you get for your USD$100.00?

The Premiere Edition of the DVD (available exclusively to contributors) includes per unit:

One Region 0 DVD (playable on all systems worldwide) containing the (approximately) 53 minute film entitled "Man Conquers Space".

Also on the DVD: a 4 minute short short film called "Martian Sunrise" - also by me, and the details of which I will not divulge at all before the release of the DVD, other than to say that it is also sf, and based on a short story I wrote many years ago.

Also on the DVD: "The Making of Man Conquers Space" - a mumble minute long exposé on How I Did It.

Also on the DVD: A Chesley Bonestell Gallery - an interactive series of still images of the best of Chesley Bonestell's space art.

Accompanying the DVD:

A copy of Ron Miller and Fred Durant's book "The Art of Chesley Bonestell", signed by the authors;

IMPORTANT NEWS: Due to the continuing lacklustre performance of the Australian dollar against the US dollar, the book option may not be viable. Consider that "The Art of Chesley Bonestell" currently retails in Australia for $140.00 - not a great price. An alternative to this book may be an archival quality print of a Bonestell painting signed by Ron Miller and Fred Durant, accompanied by a large size print of a scene from Man Conquers Space - both framed into a wall plaque or something. I'm still investigating this one, but when I get the final word, I'll post details here.

A series of postcards with art from "Man Conquers Space";

A "Man Conquers Space" T-shirt, and (budget permitting) "Man Conquers Space" embroidered Polo shirt, baseball cap and NCA patch;

A (budget permitting) softcover book chronicling the "Man Conquers Space" story, with diagrams and illustrations from "Man Conquers Space", as well as some of the art of Chesley Bonestell.

All contributors also get their name in the credits of the film.

Lastly, each Contributor receives, three years after the release date of "Man Conquers Space", a bank cheque being a dividend based on their cut of the total profits earned by "Man Conquers Space" in that time (40% of the total profits will be allocated for Contributor dividends, and that is divided amongst the number of units accumulated - which is why some people have wanted to contribute more than 1 unit, or $100). This percentage allocated for division between Contributors is of a portion of the film's total budget, not the entire budget, as budgetary shortfall is being accommodated by professional financing.

To encourage a greater profit, items made for the film, including spacesuits, the cockpit of the Saturn Shuttle, and panels from the interior of the lunar landers will be sold. All serious offers will be considered.

The total value of the film, its budget, and the budgetary divisions to be made will be made available to any Contributor after the official completion date of the film. This is due to ongoing changes with the film's financial status, and the coming on board of larger scale financial backers.

The Standard Edition of "Man Conquers Space":

will be retailed through retail chains I have yet to negotiate with (they don't want to talk until they can see finished product).

The Standard Edition will contain the film "Man Conquers Space", plus "The Making Of" as with the Premiere Edition, but that's it.

This will be the only way (other than buying directly from this website) to acquire a copy of "Man Conquers Space" outside becoming a contributor.
